A word of advice, and this time it’s not our opinion – it’s a fact.

While you’re out making those last minute selections for a Thanksgiving dinner, looking at Christmas lights, walking the malls or just driving around so you can listen to the latest Florida recount news on the radio, be careful.

Winter’s expected chill has arrived early, it seems.

Cold arctic-like air, mixed with a little wind, can freeze skin faster than you might think.

Cold air can even kill under the right circumstances.

So, bundle up.

Wrap the kids in layers for extra warmth.

And while you’re all bundled up – don’t forget to visit the Paramount Arts Center’s Festival of Trees in Ashland, Ky. It’s an event not to miss.

Many Lawrence County school students rely on the Paramount for part of their education.

A charitable visit to the festival will keep the educational programs going.
