While counting down to the magic midnight hour tonight, many thoughts will turn to resolutions.

Whether it’s losing weight, quitting cigarettes or being kinder to our fellow neighbors, many come up with a goal when turning the calendar over to the new year.

This time, though, instead of making a specific goal, why not make a general goal – one to just try. It’s not in winning the battle of meeting a resolution, it’s in try to reach our destination that gives us strength and courage and, best of all, determination.
