The Vikings placed 11 difference players in the scoring column as they polished off the St. Joe Flyers 86-42 Tuesday night.

"We had 11 different players score. That was the best we’ve moved the ball around on offense all year. We need to keep up that kind of movement in our offense," Vikings coach Alvin Carpenter said.

Justin Myers had 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Vikings moved to 11-5 on the season. Drew Hunt had 14 points and J. T. Piece added 12 points. Brandon Runyon had nine rebounds and Kevin Miller grabbed six.

Danny Stack scored 19 points to lead the Flyers (3-14) who were missing leading scorer Bill Dressel who was out with stitches in his head. Shawn Hacker had six rebounds and Chris Laber pulled down five.

The first quarter was a shootout between Myers and Stack. Myers had eight points and Stack poured in 11 including a pair of 3-pointers and Symmes Valley led just 18-14.

Hunt nailed a couple of 3-pointer to start the second quarter and the Vikings went on to outscore the Flyers 19-10 for a 37-24 halftime lead. Stack had five more points in the quarter for the Flyers.

"We battled the first half, but the second half was just horrible," Flyers coach Kevin Sheridan said. "Danny Stack played well and did some good things for us. But as a whole, we just didn’t play well."

St. Joe was 9-of-22 from the field the first half, but finished 14-of-50 for the game.

The Vikings went on a 6-0 run to start the second half and Myers got nine points the third quarter as the Vikings opened up a 57-33 lead.

J. T. Pierce hit three 3-pointers off the bench the fourth quarter as the Vikings outscored the Flyers 29-9. Laber had all nine of St. Joe’s points in the quarter.
