"We’re expecting results sometime this week," OU spokesperson George Mauzy said this morning.

Clint Shuff of the Ohio EPA said Monday that the results will indicate the nature of the dark material found at the site.

Once the EPA sees the data, it will decide whether or not to do its own sampling, and what will happen next, Shuff said.

The EPA is working with OU on the situation, he said.

Mauzy said work will continue at the construction site but OU would hold off on commenting about the tests until it receives more data and information about the dirt from the Ohio EPA.
