Symmes Valley’s senior point guard Brad Carpenter (4) drives past Eastern defenders for a layup. The Vikings lost a 53-51 heartbreaker in the Division IV regional semifinals Tuesday at the Columbus Fairgrounds. It was the Vikings first-ever regional appearance.
