Murals of the Tanks, far left, and other historic Lawrence County symbols appear on the floodwall at the Center Street Landing. The Ironton Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Hearts wants to add a mural honoring county veterans who did not return from war, although work on the mural’s location has not been started. They are raising funds, then will seek a spot on the wall.
