A couple of great receivers will be trying to catch some young football players.

The Bartrum and Brown Football Camp, sponsored by South Point Ford, will be held at Spring Valley High School starting June 22.

Former Marshall and current NFL receivers Mike Bartrum and Troy Brown will host the camp that has a star-studded lineup of 39 speakers including New York Jets quarterback Chad Pennington.

The list includes NFL pro players, former Marshall players, and coaches from the Herd, Spring Valley and Meigs high school staffs.

Included on the list will be Marty Moore of the Cleveland Browns, Jason Starkey (Arizona Cardinals), Sam Gash (New England Patriots), Heath Irwin (Miami Dolphins), Tom Tupa (Jets/Ohio State), Damon Moore (Philadelphia Eagles), John Wade (Jacksonville Jaguars), Allen Degraffenreid (former Chiefs and Bengals player), and Marshall head coach Bob Pruett.

Incoming first through 8th graders will workout from 9 a.m. to noon followed by the incoming 9th through 12th graders from 1-to-4 p.m.

Fee is $25 for early registration by June 25, and $30 the day of the camp. If more than one family member, add $15 per sibling.
