Top photo, South Point’s Jarred Perdue clears the high jump bar to win the event at the Ohio Valley Conference meet Friday. Perdue, who plays baseball, ran with the Pointers track team and scored 22 points to help them win the meet. Rock Hill won the girls OVC meet Friday, its ninth league championship in the past 10 season. Most area track teams will compete Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon in the district meet at Fairland High School. Coal Grove and Green will be in the Division III district meets Tuesday and Friday, also at Fairland.
