Betty Adkins, Ironton Business Association president, said the event will be held June 21-23 and will offer entertainment for the entire family.

Adkins said several music concerts are on tap, including country music singer Ricky Lynn Greg, who will take the main stage on June 22.

On June 21, the group Blue Max will take the main stage from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Hank Haller, who plays Bavarian-style music, will also be performing in the tent stage from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on June 21 and June 22.

On June 22, Adkins said, the event will focus around country music. In addition to Greg, local bands, Riverside and Legends will play on the main stage with Riverside kicking off the performance at 5 p.m.

A Miss Ironmasters pageant will also be held for ladies ages 18 to 21. The pageant will be held at the City Center at 7 p.m. on June 21. A pageant for younger children, the Little Miss and Mister Pageant, will be held on June 23.

In addition to the concerts, a group of Amish people from Gallia County will be in town selling arts and crafts and food vendors will be out in force peddling their wares. She said community groups have also scheduled other events, such as a "Rose Show" on June 23 by the garden club and an antique tractor show.

Adkins said the event is hoped to attract people to the downtown area and "show off" the downtown businesses. She said the event in 1999 brought an estimated 10,000 people to Ironton’s downtown.
