Flooding caused a sink hole to collapse under the corner of Wilma Hamilton’s porch at 160 High St. in Coal Grove Thursday. From left, neighbors Robert and Daniel Pancake and visitors Kristine Franklin and Keith Shope stepped close to view the damage. The hole was approximately three feet wide and several feet deep. According to Mark Dean, Coal Grove village administrator, the tile believed to be causing the flooding will be replaced. Dean said he and Mayor B.T. McKnight examined the sink hole Thursday and also looked at damage other property owners in the area sustained.
