JACKSON – Andy Brown was hot and the Ironton Country Club junior team was sizzling.

Brown shot a 4-under par 68 to capture medalist honors as theIronton Juniors recently won the Southeast Ohio Golf Association Junior Tournament by an amazing 37 strokes.

Ironton’s team consisted of Zach Christian, Michael McGraw, Andrew Sparks, Joey Crabtree, and Brown.

There are seven golf clubs in Southeast Ohio who compete in the SEOGA juniors tournament: Ironton, Cliffside (Gallipolis), Brass Ring (Logan), Marietta, Pickaway Country Club (Circleville), Athens, and Fairgreens and Franklin Valley of Jackson.
