With August upon us, summer workouts are well under way for area high school football teams. The regular season for football in Ohio starts Friday, Aug. 24. For those wishing to catch a glimpse of the Hornets and the rest of the Ohio Valley Conference, the league’s preview will be held this coming Tuesday at Coal Grove High School. The event kicks off with Fairland against River Valley at 6 p.m., followed by Chesapeake taking on Rock Hill and culminating with Coal Grove versus South Point.
