Little Mia Wilson takes a look around her new kindergarten room at St. Lawrence Elementary, above, during Friday’s open house where parents, students and teachers met – some for the first time. Also, students at South Point Elementary traded in summer toys for pencils and paper Friday as the district went back in session. County schools start classes on Monday. St. Lawrence Elementary, pictured at top, and St. Joseph High start Monday as well. Ironton city school begin Tuesday.
