Another sign of fall, the Wilgus Sorghum Festival, is coming next weekend, Sept. 29-30, Mrs. Balmer said. The annual event, featuring sorghum-making, crafts, food, contests and Balmer pumpkins, is sponsored by the Lawrence County Draft Horse Association.
