Jerry Burgess, the field foreman for Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Inc. of Avon, Ind. peers over Green Township from atop the new water tower in Franklin Furnace. The tower will take about 5 weeks to build and is a part of the water system improvements for the City of Portsmouth. The tower will hold 750,000 gallons of water and is 200 feet tall.
