WHEELERSBURG - The body of a 33-year-old Sciotoville man was found in a dump site in Scioto County late Sunday evening after police received an anonymous call.

The body of Danny Lee Howard, Holmes Ave., Sciotoville was found in an illegal dump on Stout Hollow. Howard is believed to have had a gunshot wound to the upper part of his body.

Howard was reported missing by family members to the Portsmouth Police Department on Oct. 31.

An autopsy is being conducted by the Hamilton County forensics center.
