Mary Ellen Conley, DBHS GEAR-UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) coordinator, discusses mentoring with a group of Dawson-Bryant bus drivers, secretaries, custodians and cooks at an appreciation breakfast held at DBHS this morning. The breakfast was to show recognition to those who "go above and beyond the call of duty" in their jobs. This event was arranged by Conley and VISTA volunteers Kathy Gore and Brenda Large. Food was prepared by the DBHS home economics class. GEAR-UP director Garry Osborn was also present for the brunch.
