Cory McKnight, a sixth-grader at Ironton Middle School, raises his hand to ask a question during the Child Welfare Club’s annual Eddy Test Tuesday. Thirty-five students from Ironton Middle School and St. Lawrence School – the top 25 percent of sixth-grade students at each school – took the scholastic achievement test. Students in the top one-third of all Eddy Test participants will receive an Eddy Award at a banquet later this year.
