March 9, 1935-May 14, 2002 CHESAPEAKE -- Jackson "Jack" Richard Sites, 67, of Chesapeake died Tuesday at Heartland of Riverview Nursing Home in South Point.
The Lawrence County native was born March 9, 1935, the son of the late Arnold Douglas and Ethel Conaway Sites.
He was the husband of Dixie Freeman Sites, who survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Linnville Baptist Church.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Debrah L. Harris; and two sisters, Betty Long and Kay Aliff.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Terry Porter of Chesapeake; one sister, Carolyn Douglas of South Point; four grandchildren, Kari Randolph, Chassity Porter, Tiffany Porter and Justin Porter; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be noon Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, with the Revs. Charles Comer and Meredith Turley officiating. Burial will be in Getaway Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
