May 8, 1913-May 14, 2002 SCOTTOWN -- Othella C. Dornon, 89, of Scottown died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
The Lawrence County native was born May 8, 1913, the daughter of the late William and Pluma Capper Callicoat. She was the wife of the late Leo Dornon.
She was a member of Perkins Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Phyllis Dornon of Scottown; three sisters, Rosalee Anderson of Marysville, Thelma Wilson of Willow Wood and Olena Wilson of Pedro; three grandchildren, Steve Dornon of South Point, Barry Dornon of Thorntown, Ind., and Karen Pharr of Golden, Colo.; four great-grandchildren, Kristi Dornon, Stephanie Dornon, Dustin Showalter and Jordan Showalter; and two half sisters, Betty Vining of Delaware, Ohio, and Phyllis Booth of New Jersey.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, with the Revs. Larry Comer and Cleo Watson officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
