March 13, 1971-June 6, 2002 Gary Spencer, 31, of Ironton died Thursday at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. The Ironton native was born March 13, 1971, the son of Charles Spencer and Ann McCreary, both of Ironton. He was the husband of Misty Greene Spencer, who survives. He was a 1989 graduate of Ironton High School and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Rolanda Spencer. Survivors, in addition to his parents and wife, include two daughters, Kayla Spencer and Danielle Spencer, both of Ironton; two sons, Marcquis Foley Spencer and Gary Lee Spencer Jr., both of Ironton; four brothers, Dale Spencer, Charles Spencer Jr., Jerry Spencer and David McCreary, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four sisters, Angela Spencer, Charlotte Lewis and Chrystal Lewis, all of Cincinnati, Tarsha Lewis of Ironton and Frances Lewis of Tampa Bay, Fla.

Funeral will be noon Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Peebles officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at O'Keefe-Baker Funeral Home.
