condition.

Dillon said it is unclear what the motive might have been for the incident.

From reports I've seen, this looks totally unprovoked, "Dillon said.

"There does not appear to have been an altercation."

Other bar patrons allegedly told authorities that the two men had both been at the establishment for a while and had even played pool together earlier in the evening.

"They said Hopper went into the bathroom and Cron followed and then they heard screams," Dillon said.

Other patrons then wrestled the knife away from Cron.

Cron is scheduled to appear today in Ironton Municipal Court to answer the charge against him. The incident remains under investigation.
