LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP-- A single-vehicle accident yesterday sent a Rock Camp woman to the hospital.

Jonna E. Hitchcock, 18, was southbound on Leatherwood Road when her car veered off the right side of the pavement and struck a tree. The accident occurred 1.6 miles north of State Route 243.

Hitchcock was taken by LifeFlight to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. where she is listed in critical condition.
