From staff reportsASHLAND, Ky. -- The St. Joseph Junior Flyers hoisted a championship trophy in the Ashland Holy Family Catholic Invitational Tournament Wednesday.

The Flyers downed Our Lady of Fatima 36-33 in the championship game as Michael Basedow scored 13 points.

St. Joseph rolled past Huntington St. Joseph 57-16 in the semifinal game while Our Lady of Fatima advanced by beating Holy Family.

Basedow and Clay Crum were named to the all-tournament team.

This week St. Joseph (9-1) is scheduled to host Rock Hill and travel to Our Lady of Fatima.
