"We played well and hit well. Sean did a real good job. He came in with the bases loaded and struck out the batter. He only gave up one hit in four innings. He just didn't put people on base," Redmen coach Barry Littler said.

South Gallia had taken a 3-0 lead in the first inning, but Rock Hill tied the game in the second.

Nathan Wager and Sam Lewis singled, and Nathan Litteral tripled home the runners. Litteral scored on a balk.

The Rebels got two more runs in the third only to have the Redmen tied the game again with two runs in the fourth.

Micah Settle was hit by a pitch, Wagner was safe on an error, and the two pulled off a double steal. Nathan Litteral grounded out as a run scored and Kyle Lewis followed with an RBI double.

Rock Hill took the lead with two runs in the fifth when David Martin and Matt Barnard doubled for one run and Settle singled home the third.

The Redmen got two insurance runs in the sixth.

Nathan Litteral walked to start the sixth, stole second, Kyle Lewis walked, they pulled off another double steal, and David Schug and Martin had RBI singles.

Martin was 3-3 and Schug 2-4 to pace an 11-hit attack.

Rock Hill, 5-7, hosts Coal Grove Friday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
