AID - If you like softball, you'll love the sixth annual Valley of Thunder Softball Tournament.

The event will be hosted Friday and Saturday at the home of the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings.

Friday at field one, South Point plays Russell at 5 p.m. followed by North Ridgeville and Symmes Valley at 8 p.m.

Saturday's schedule is:

9:30 a.m. Chesapeake vs. Portsmouth (field one); 9:30 – Russell vs. Wellston (field two); 11:30 a.m. – Symmes Valley vs. Amherst Steele (field one); 11:30 a.m. – South Point vs. North Ridgeville (field two); 1:30 p.m. – Wellston vs. North Ridgeville (field one); 1:30 p.m. – Amherst Steele vs. River Valley (field two); 3:30 – Chesapeake vs. Ironton (field one); 3:30 p.m. – Portsmouth vs. River Valley (field two); 5:30 p.m. – Ironton vs. South Point (field one).
