DECATUR- Two people are dead after a single-car accident last night near the 18-mile marker on State Route 93.

Ohio State Highway patrol troopers said James S. Malone, 29, of Pedro, was traveling south when his car left the pavement, struck an embankment, overturned and hit a tree. The car came to rest on its wheels.

Malone and a passenger, Mark J. Mazur, 29, of Wapakoneta, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
