PERRY TOWNSHIP- Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of a body yesterday morning at Jerry's Lake in Sheridan, but believe the man died of natural causes.

Chief Deputy Gary Akers said the body of Shawn Brown, 33, of Sheridan, was found by his brother shortly after 8 a.m. Monday.

"He apparently left home around 9 p.m. (Sunday evening) and when he didn't return, his mother became concerned and sent his brother to look for him," Akers said.

Relatives told deputies Brown had visited the lake before.

Akers said Brown had been ill and was under a doctor's care.
