The new manager of the Storms Creek Apartments wants a new look for that complex.

Manager Dan Palmer said he hopes the tenants will get involved and make the effort a success. A complex-wide cleanup has been scheduled for 3-5 p.m. Wednesday.

"We've knocked on doors and invited tenants to clean up in front of their apartments. We understand that many people may be working at that time of day, but we hope as many as possible will help," Palmer said. "We've been busy for weeks with new shrubbery and general cleanup. This will continue Wednesday afternoon."

Palmer said he wants the tenants to know that the new management does care about them and about the complex in general.

After the work is done Wednesday,

representatives with Ohio University Southern will host a cookout. Those who help with the cleanup will be treated to hot dogs and hamburgers.

The Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action took over management of the 50-unit complex earlier this year.
