COAL GROVE - The National Youth Sports Program at Ohio University Southern will be giving youths an added feature: a clinic by former University of Kentucky star Jeff Shepherd.

The clinic will be from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Coal Grove High School.

Shepherd will conduct the basketball clinic as he talks to the youths about all aspects of the game.

Shepherd played for the Wildcats from 1995-98 and was a member of two national championship teams. He was voted the Most Valuable Player of the 1998 Final Four held in San Antonio.
