Three arrested in car theft

Three people remain behind bars today after being arrested over the weekend in connection with the theft of a car.

Everett McDonald, 20, of Ironton, John F. Baker, 18, and Nikisha Robinson, 18, both of Louisville, Ky., are all charged with receiving stolen property. They were arrested Saturday after Ironton police received an anonymous tip about the matter.

Police located the 2003 Ford Explorer in the vicinity of Third and Center streets late Saturday evening and determined later that it had been stolen from Star Ford of Oxmoor, near Louisville.

All three people were arraigned Monday in Ironton Municipal Court and will appear Thursday for preliminary hearings.
