Suspected drug dealers arraigned Thursday

Two Columbus area men arrested this week on drug-related charges were arraigned Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court, and will return to court Thursday for preliminary hearings.

Antwan Winbush, also known as Deneen Black, 22, remains in the Lawrence County Jail under a $200,000 bond. Winbush is charged with first degree aggravated trafficking in schedule I and II drugs, resisting arrest and falsification of identity. Authorities discovered 35 grams of crack is his possession. Winbush is also wanted on drug related charges in Portsmouth.

Keleci Hill, 26, remains in jail under a $100,000 bond. Hill is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, having a weapon under a disability, possession of criminal tools, trafficking in marijuana and first-degree aggravated trafficking in Schedule I and II drugs.

Hill was arrested late Tuesday night, and Winbush, his associate, hours later Wednesday morning.

Local authorities said they had received information that drug dealers from out of town were selling their wares in Lawrence County, and had established surveillance of the two men and the vehicles they were using for transportation.

Authorities said they confiscated 144 grams of crack cocaine from these two men and a third, unnamed suspect at that time - one of the largest single-day finds in this area and estimated to have a street value of $22,000.
