PROCTORVILLE-- In conjunction with the Proctorville widening project that is under way in Lawrence County, crews from TAB Construction are paving the temporary roadway within the project zone between state routes 607 and 243.

While crews are working throughout the day, traffic will be maintained in two lanes on the existing roadway. However, motorists are advised of possible traffic delays, especially between Irene Road East and State Route 243 and during peak travel times.

The $4.46 million widening project includes the addition of a center, left-turn lane and the installation of a new storm system, curb, gutter, sidewalk and traffic control devices for the widening of 1.33 miles of State Route 7.
