South Point man pleads guilty to drug store burglary

A South Point man will spend 10 months in prison for breaking into McMeans Pharmacy in South Point.

Christopher Sinozich, 19, of 29 Private Drive 56, South Point pleaded guilty Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court. In sentencing Sinozich, Judge Frank McCown took into account that Sinozich was on probation for an earlier offense when he broke into the drug store. In addition to the prison sentence, McCown also ordered Sinozich to pay restitution to the pharmacy. he was given credit for 45 days already served in jail awaiting resolution of his case.

The break-in occurred July 21. Sinozich was indicted last month by a grand jury.
