Ironton businessman fair after weekend accident

ASHLAND, Ky. - Ironton businessman Jim Howard remains hospitalized in fair condition at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., after a three-vehicle collision in Ashland Saturday.

Ashland Police Department Lt. Don Stump said

the accident occurred at 5:27 p.m. at the intersection of Winchester Avenue and Town Center Drive in front of the Texas Roadhouse. A Nissan driven by John C. Miller was westbound when it collided with Howard's Honda motorcycle and a Chevy S-10 truck driven by Adam Newsome.

Howard, 67,

was the only person injured in the wreck. He was taken from the scene by LifeFlight helicopter.

Stump said the accident remains under investigation.
