COAL GROVE - It will give Coal Grove children an opportunity to confer with the jolly fat man a bit early, in hopes of having the merriest Christmas ever.

The annual Breakfast with Santa will be 9 a.m.- 12 noon at the Dawson-Bryant High School Cafetorium. The event is sponsored by the Coal Grove Betterment Club and the Coal Grove Lions Club.

"It's our way of giving back to the community," Lions Club secretary Carol Gool said. "It's a community event with the spirit of giving."

Lions Club members will prepare the food, and Betterment Club members will give each child a gift. There will also be a balloon artist on hand.

"And don't forget," Gool said. "Santa Claus will be there!"
