Roger Joseph did a little two-step.

With Rickie McDonie, Derek Martin, Sean Mullins and Donald Cade all in foul trouble, Mullins and Joseph stepped up with career highs in scoring to lead the Rock Hill Redmen to a 62-47 win over the Ohio Valley Christian Defenders Tuesday.

Mullins scored 18 points on 9 of 10 shooting and Joseph had 14 points as Rock Hill evened its record to 2-2.

"Roger played a great floor game and shot the ball real well. Zach Mullins really stepped up, too. I can't say enough about him. We had a lot of guys step up," Mills said. "Sean Mullins played another excellent game defensively. He's becoming more of a total player every game."

K.C. Christian had a triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

"K.C. started out a little slow, but he ended up playing pretty solid," Mills said.

Nathan Bowman had 17 points and J.T. Lindeman 11 to lead OVC.

McDonie scored five points including a 3-pointer as Rock Hill took a 17-12 first quarter lead.

OVC got seven points from Bowman in the second quarter as the Defenders closed the gap to 33-29 at the half.

Bowman scored six more points in the third quarter as OVC got within 43-40.

But Joseph scored eight points and Mullins six more as the Redmen held on for the win.

In the reserve game, Rock Hill won 50-13 as Artie Mullins scored 12 points, Nick Snavely eight and Andrew Stumbo six.
