GALLIPOLIS - The Chesapeake Panthers placed four wrestlers as they finished seventh Saturday in the Gallipolis Invitational.

Chad Pennington was second at 135 pounds. Finishing third were Bryan Eldred in the 171 division and Larry McDonald at 189.

Taking fourth place was Chris Ridenour at 103 pounds.

Nelsonville-York won the tournament with 106 points. Belpre with 73 was second followed by Pt. Pleasant (W.Va.) with 64, River Valley 62, Gallipolis 56, Waterford 38, Chesapeake 28, Jackson 24, Meigs 15, Vinton County 11, and Fairland and Wahama (W.Va.) had 8 points each.
