PATRIOT - The Symmes Valley Junior Vikings boys and girls all posted wins over the Southwestern Junior High Monday.

The Lady Vikings improved to 4-2 with a 32-28 win as Emily Bowling scored 16 and Ashley Ferris 12.

The 7th grade boys rolled to a 50-17 victory and stayed unbeaten at 3-0. Jerry Johnson scored 17 points and Jesse Graybill 10 to lead the Vikings.

The 8th grade gained revenge for its lone loss by rallying in the fourth quarter for a 40-34 win.

Chris Capper had nine points while Brice Sexton and Steven Thompson scored eight each for the Vikings, 5-1.

The junior Vikings host New Boston Thursday.
