Despite the loss, Green coach Kevin Lewis was pleased with the performance.

"We played pretty well, we just didn't get it done. We just couldn't buy a bucket the second half," Lewis said. "Some of the credit goes to them. They defended the perimeter pretty well."

Nick Aldridge had 30 points as South Webster improved to 14-3. Evan DeCamp added 12 points.

Aaron Patten had 12 points and seven rebounds for Green while Timmy Yarnell added 10 points and eight rebounds. Derek Lewis had four assists and Kenny Elrod led with nine rebounds.

The Jeeps took an 18-17 lead in the first quarter as Aldridge scored eight points. Yarnell had seven for Green.

Patten had six points in the second quarter as Green rallied to take a 36-32 lead despite eight more points by Aldridge.

But the Bobcats scored just six points in the third quarter and Aldridge got eight points as the Jeeps went up 45-42.

DeCamp took over with seven points in the fourth quarter as South Webster began to pull away.
