Bowling Green turns back Ohio

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Ron Lewis had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead Bowling Green to an 81-71 win over Ohio on Wednesday night.

John Reimold added 16 points, Steven Wright had 13 and Cory Eyink 11 for the Falcons (10-12, 6-6 Mid-American Conference).

Sonny Troutman led the Bobcats (8-15, 5-7) with 26 points, Delvar Barrett had 13 and Jaivon Harris added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Harris hit only 3-of-13 shots from the field and missed all seven of his 3-point attempts after making 7-of-15 3s, including the game-winner, in Saturday's 88-84 overtime victory over Ball State.

The Bobcats shot only 38.3 percent from the floor against the Falcons, including a 6-for-19 performance in the first half to fall behind 41-25 at the break. Bowling Green closed the first half on a 12-1 run.

Thomas Stephens hit a 3-pointer and Harris had a three-point play in an 8-0 surge that pulled the Bobcats to 54-47 with 8:32 remaining. But Bowling Green's lead didn't fall below seven points the rest of the way.
