FORT GAY, W.Va. - Actually, opposites separate.

The South Point Lady Pointers banged out 18 hits while the Tolsia Lady Rebels were limited to one hit. The result was an 11-1 five-inning win for the Lady Pointers Monday.

Ashley Patrick went 4-4 to lead the Lady Pointers offense.

Nicole Shockley was 3-3, Allison Queen 2-2, Summer Malone 3-4 and Alex Weed 2-4 as South Point improved to 12-9.

Patrick went the first four innings to get the win.
