SOUTH POINT - Supposedly, revenge is best served cold. But things were still warm when the South Point Pointers got their revenge against the Fairview Eagles.

After losing 4-3 in eight innings Saturday, the Pointers bounced back Monday and spanked Fairview 9-5.

"After playing them so close Saturday and then beating them the way we did, that has to help our confidence," Pointers coach Kevin Milem said. "Wes (Patterson) and Tyler (Staton) came around and were hitting the ball hard."
