CHESHIRE - After an upset loss to Coal Grove on Wednesday to ruin their Ohio Valley Conference title hopes, the South Point Pointers could have easily closed the book on the baseball season.

But that was not the case as the Pointers won their final two regular season games including 10-1 over River Valley Friday in an OVC game.

"We went from feeling as low as we can to feeling like the weight of the world came off our shoulders. We played like a team the last two games," Pointers coach Kevin Milem said.
