Regional meet finals set today

BYESVILLE - They'll run again.
Several area track standouts will run in Friday's Division II regional finals after qualifying on Wednesday.
Ironton's 4×200 quartet of Shane Kerns, Darrell Carter, Aaron Hasenauer and Derique Bacon were seventh in the preliminaries with a 1:35.5 time.
Bacon will also run in the 400 meter finals. He was fifth Wednesday with a 52.36 clocking.
South Point's Quentin Smith will run in the 100 meter dash and join Tommy Hayner, Steve Leighty and John Crager in the 4×100 meter relay.
Ironton's Mandy Boykin will run in the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Already in the state meet is Ironton senior pole vaulter Justin Gillum who cleared 13-6 to place third.
In Division III at Lancaster, Chesapeake's Scott Davidson advanced to the state meet as he finished third in the pole vault as he put up a height of 12-6.
The top four finishers in each event of the finals advance to the state meet next Friday and Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of Ohio State University.
