"I am thrilled by the opportunity and I believe in what The Tribune is doing as a community newspaper," Evans said. "Our sales staff is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Each of them really cares about their customers and wants to help them improve their businesses."

Evans said he's excited by the opportunities working for a community daily offers.

"I genuinely believe the newspaper offers a great product that really isn't afraid to dig into the news," Evans said. "But it doesn't lose its focus on its wonderful advertisers and readers. I look forward to working with them all."

Evans and his wife, Becky, have two daughters, Megan, 6, and Emily, 4.
