SOUTH POINT - Due to a water line break on Tuesday from near the FeeCorp offices on County Road 1 to Smoot Lane in South Point, the South Point Water Department is advising customers to vigorously boil for at least one minute any water used for drinking, used to make ice, cooking or oral hygiene.

The South Point Water Department has no evidence at this time that the water system is contaminated. The possibility exists, however, that the water system is contaminated, so this advisory is being issued as a precaution.
