W.Va., man faces charges after inter-state pursuit

ROME TOWNSHIP - A Culloden, W.Va., man is behind bars in Lawrence County today after taking authorities in two states on an early morning chase.
Jan Perry, 35, will likely face charges in both West Virginia and Ohio as a result of the incident.
Huntington Police Department Capt. Steve Hall said officers in that city began pursuing
Perry after
they determined he was driving a stolen Chevrolet S-10 pick up truck. The pursuit continued across the 31st Street Bridge into Proctorville where Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies continued the chase. Perry was apprehended on Skate Run off State Route 775.
The incident happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. this morning. This is the second interstate pursuit that ended in Lawrence County within the last week.
