WILLOW WOOD - Talk about working quickly.

The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings made quick work of the Portsmouth East Lady Tartans with a straight sets volleyball win Wednesday.

The Lady Vikings won the Southern Ohio Conference match 25-13, 25-7 and 25-9.

Erin Martin had 9 points, Leslie Floyd and Amanda Provens had 8 points each, and Rebecca Capper scored 7.

Tiffany Bryant led the defensive charge with 10 kills and Capper had 6.

In the reserve match, the Lady Vikings won 25-4, 20-25 and 15-9. Aida Aguinata had 15 points, Tiffany Fowler 13 and Natasha Pointer 11 for the Vikes.

Symmes Valley is 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the SOC.
