Several roads still closed in Lawrence

The following routes remain closed Monday morning in Lawrence County due to high water, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation District Nine:

4State Route 141, between the 12-mile marker south of Aid and the 21-mile marker south of Waterloo;

4State Route 775, between Proctorville and Township Road 194-W;

4State Route 217, between the 5.5-mile marker west of Linnville and the 6.5-mile marker near state Route 378;

4State Route 378, just north of state Route 243 at Getaway to just north of County Road 61;

4State Route 243, between the 11-mile marker at Getaway and the 18-mile marker north of state Route 7 at Bradrick.

4State Route 650, between Hanging Rock and state Route 522.

Motorists are cautioned that crossing any closed route is prohibited; they are also reminded to exercise extreme caution while crossing any routes which remain open but which may have some standing water.
